Why I Created Inner Compass Yoga
Plus Sunday's Class Details
Hi There,
Have you ever felt like something was missing from your yoga practice? I certainly did.
Years ago, while attending a traditional vinyasa class, I found myself going through the motions - physically present but mentally miles away. Despite practicing for years, I realized I was treating yoga as just another workout, missing its true transformative potential.
The Birth of Inner Compass Yoga
That realization sparked a journey to develop a practice that consistently brought me back to myself - not just on the mat, but in everyday life. After years of study, exploration, and teaching, Inner Compass Yoga emerged as my personal answer to the question: "How can yoga serve as a true compass for navigating life's complexities?"
What makes this approach different is the intentional weaving of:
Mindful Awareness: Rather than rushing through postures, we move with deliberate attention, creating a moving meditation that calms the nervous system.
Inner Listening: Throughout practice, I guide specific moments to pause and truly listen to what your body and intuition are communicating.
Integration Time: Unlike classes that end abruptly, we include sacred space for integration, allowing insights to take root before returning to daily life.
